8 Best Hairstyles for Guys in 2026

November 28, 2025
One of the best years on record for men’s hair was 2025. Guys were embracing their natural texture and letting their hair grow a bit longer. Men were also leaning into edgier, cooler styles that you will see even more of in the new year. That said, I want to talk about the best haircuts for 2026. Products used in this video include Sea SALT Spray, Texture Powder, and Hair Putty.

Men’s Hairstyles for 2026

  1. Slickback. It’s epically sexy and has an old-money aesthetic. Its appearance is rich, simple, and effortless professionalism. It works well with pretty much any face shape, and is a must-try for every guy.
  2. Crew cut. Variations include super tight on the sides or a bit more grown out. It’s a shorter style that requires less maintenance but takes a bit more effort for regular cuts.
  3. Textured crop. The French crop is one of my all-time favorites. It’s short up top with a lot of texture and movement. Sometimes it has a bit of Fringe in the front, but not super long. It has a professional vibe that’s rugged and masculine. Very versatile and perfect for guys with a little bit of a receding hairline or thinning.
  4. Quiff vs Pompadour. The pompadour isn’t going to be as popular this year because it’s more stylized and takes effort. It’s more precise; whereas, currently, men are gravitating toward messier, playful styles. The quiff will be seen a lot more, with the hair a bit longer on top and playfully pushed back from the sides and face.
  5. Baby mullet. The mullet has surged in popularity, with men growing the back of their hair while keeping the sides super tight. The top has had a lot of variation, but generally is a bit shorter. The baby mullet features the back grown out with much more fullness in the lower portion of the style. The sides are tightened but not skin-tight or low fade. It’s just shorter. The baby mullet is less severe.
  6. Classic side part. It’s an excellent style for straighter hair. It features a classic professional aesthetic that works depending on your vibe and personal aesthetic. It can take on a more masculine tone when paired with a beard.
  7. The Flow. It’s perfect for medium wavy to curly hairstyles that have grown out and been pushed back after drying. Texture is needed with this style, but not weighted down. It’s casual and effortless, and can be a bit more professional by slicking it back.
  8. Buzz cut. The hair is taken super short and tightened on the sides. To make it look even better, grow a beard, as nothing looks better than a buzz cut with a beard. It’s incredibly rugged and masculine. This style accentuates pronounced features, such as a strong nose, eyes, and mouth.

The textured crop brings a sharp, modern edge grounded in rugged, natural movement. Short, layered length on top creates choppy, piece-by-piece definition, while tight fades or clean tapers keep the silhouette strong and intentional. Matte products enhance the grit, giving the fringe its signature forward-driven attitude—making this the men’s hairstyle poised to dominate 2026. Low-maintenance yet undeniably masculine, it’s packed with built-in texture that looks fresh, confident, and effortlessly styled every single day.
